I started my coffee shop crawl... Yday went pear shape... guess why? Well not everyone is open on Tue - Simples :)

Today i could pick up my own coffee and cinnamon rolls and amazing @teaandthegang restock supply from @coffeeatfays by myself (as opposed to their delivery). I have been smiling all day - in anticipation to see the gals, then because i had this amazing cup in my hand and sun on my face... and later i reused the cup and now it has a plant in it with a reminder to pause - perfection!!!

Also my feed will start being a mixture of things - shot with pro camera, on mobile, showing not just food, but products and every day life with beauty around. I am a person with multiple interest, multiple talents, multiple everything. I was afraid to appear scattered but not anymore...

Our go to is always the faithful aeropress which is great for coffee on the go too. It's super simple, really easy to clean and makes the smoothest brew with very low acidity. Its a winner.

It's been a little while since we've been able to say this.

Today, we are hanging out at 46 Mill Street, pestering passerbys and talking nonsense to our trusty visitors between 8.30 - 4pm.

It's the start and we are so grateful to be here.

Sending out so many positive vibes to all the other people in our town today turning that key and the open signs over for the first time in a long time - you've got this. We've got this.

Now, off to try to remember how to use this coffee machine...

About 6 months ago, I took all of the old blogs off our web site and vowed to write two a month. Keep things current, keep things interesting, keep that connection going.

That went well didn't it.

I've started to write to you so many times but just stared at my blank screen where my ideas and thoughts would normally flow so freely and have come up with absolutely sod all.

Well look what happened, I only bloody managed it with a good old fashioned paper and pen. There's something so perfect about finding a really good pen (black, med nib, good flow - obviously) and writing down your thoughts isn't there?

Due to this modern, fast paced world we are living in, I obligingly transferred it to the accessible form of a typed out blog. Keeping it just as it is, wonky bits n all.

Some days we weigh out our coffee with exact science, hand grind to the perfect texture, take care with the temperature and time the brew.

Other days, we throw a few granules in a cup, give it a swirl, do 4 star jumps and hope for the best.
